Bookmark original pages

Is coming Father's day And today I bring you a very fun idea that we can adapt to give it to dad: let's see how to make an original page mark.

With only three materials that we have at home for sure we will make a craft that will surprise more than one of you, let's see the Step by Step...

Makings:

To make our bookmarks we will need the following materials:

• Colored ribbon. It can be decorated or plain.
• Elastic rubber: of those used for hair.
• Funny buttons. To match our headband and elastic band.

Processing:

The elaboration of the page mark is very simple, we just have to follow the steps in the illustration and the following explanation:

1. We cut the ribbon: for this we have to take into account the dimensions of our book or notebook, as it is not the same for a folio-size book as for one with a page size. We will measure the length and cut the tape to double the measurement.
2. We will sew the rubber to one of the ends of the tape, we will make a backstitch as indicated in the image.
3. We will sew the button to the other end. I have doubled and sewed the button to make it look more finished. (You can see how to sew this end of the ribbon in the image)
4. We only have place the bookmark in the book or notebook and pass the rubber over the button. Plus practical, because the sheet shows us where we are going, it is decorative, it looks great on the cover.

Now you can adapt it to your tastes: buttons, shapes, colors ... and customize them as you like best, you just have to let your imagination fly.
