If you have balls or beads at home, surely there will be some that you do not like very much, that has happened to me and I have found a way to change its appearance and make it more beautiful and attractive to use in our crafts, so I'm going to show you how to gild a wooden ball.
Makings:
In order to change our wooden ball and give it a golden appearance we will need:
- Pigment or ink for embossing.
- Gold embossing powders.
- Sponge.
- Folio or sheet.
- Little stick.
- Hot air dryer.
Processing:
- The first is place the ball on a sheet, so as not to stain anything.
- Next and with a sponge we are staining the wooden ball well, making sure that the entire surface is painted, with the embossing ink.
- We open our vote of powders for embossing and introduce the ball.
- We will remove it by inserting a stick through the hole. (Before this process we have to make sure that the stick fits through the hole, since then we cannot touch it with our fingers).
- We will give it heat with the dryer for crafts (The hair is not useful because it does not give enough heat and also the air removes the dust that has adhered to the ball, so the result will not be the one that interests us).
- We will see how the wooden ball is gilded by magic, completely changing its appearance and achieving that golden tone in just a few seconds.
Y we will have our ball ready with the appearance we want, because you can also place another color of powder and it will come out with a different air. That is a warning, it cannot be wet, because over time it would lose that color bath that we give to our ball.
