In this tutorial I teach you to do some sweets o candy boxes very easy and inexpensive. The little ones can help us to make them participate in the elaboration of details for their Birthday Party o Communion. We will also be making them aware of the importance of recycling since we will reuse materials to create the candy boxes.
Materials
To do the sweets o candy boxes you will need the following materials:
- A cardboard tube of toilet paper or kitchen paper
- Adhesive such as silicone, white glue or glue stick
- Crepe paper of the color you want your sweets
- Printed paper with the motifs that you like the most
- Scissors
Step by step
To start doing the confectioner take the cardboard tuben. If it's the kitchen paper tube, cut it to the size you want so it doesn't get too long. You should also cut a piece of crepe paper larger than the cardboard tube, protruding from both ends a few four or five centimeters.
Glue the crepe paper around the cardboard tube, covering it completely and leaving the tube in the center. Taking into account that these confectioners are designed to give as gifts in a party o celebration to the guests, it is likely that we will have to make a considerable amount of them, therefore the most comfortable thing is to stick the paper with hot silicone, since it adheres instantly, in this way we will be saving a lot of time. Anyway, if you want them to children help you in the process and you prefer to use another adhesive with which they cannot burn, you can use white glue or glue stick.
Enter the candies, sweets, chocolates or any sweet before closing it, and when you have them inside, turn the ends of the crepe paper and roll them, leaving it as if it were a spinning candy. Thanks to the characteristics of this paper, you will not have a problem with it opening, since it will be rolled up just as you leave it.
To decorate it a little cut a strip of patterned paper whose shades and patterns match the color of the giant candy you just created. Stick it in the center of the wrapper with the adhesive and you will have your candy box finished. Perfect for birthday parties, communions, baby shower… Make it in the colors you want, since crepe paper can be found in many different shades.
