How to make candy boxes for parties and celebrations

candy boxes

In this tutorial I teach you to create some simple candy boxes perfect for a party or any celebration. It all depends on the design of the paper. You can use a more elegant one for a wedding, or a more childish one for children's birthdays. Also, just as you can store candies, you can put chocolates, or a small gift.

Materials

To make them candy boxes you will need the following materials:

  • Patterned paper
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Bow or ribbon
  • Glue stick

I also leave you the following template that will help you move to the patterned paper so you can cut and make the shape easily.

template

Step by step

To make them candy boxes You must start by printing the template that I just showed you and tracing it on the patterned paper. The template is ready to print on A4-size or half-folio, that is, A5 size. The size depends on how you want your box. If you want it smaller, print it on a half page, if you want it larger, print it on a full page.

Choose a patterned paper to match the celebration.

patterned paper

Cut the patterned paper along the lines that you have marked from the template.

Fold the triangles inward.

And also fold the paper along the dashed lines that appear on the template.

This way you can start gluing the box. I have done it with glue stick, but you can do it with white glue or glue and a half. To hold it while it does not adhere well you can put some tweezers on the joints that you have glued, so they will hold you together until the adhesive dries and you will not have to be holding the box.

catch

Close as you see the box, but do not join the top part yet.

Bend

Before closing it, you must keep the candies or chocolates that you want it to have inside the box.

Now you can close it. Join the top and wrap it with a bow or ribbon.

tape

To make it look better, you can add a bow.

And you will have your box of candies or chocolates ready to give to your party guests.
