Card to congratulate father's day

Hello everybody! In a couple of weeks father's day arrives and that's why in this craft let's make a card to congratulate father's day. It is a perfect craft for children to do at home or at school.

Do you want to see how to do it?

Materials that we will need to make our card to congratulate Father's Day

  • Two-color cardboard can be contrasting colors to highlight the different parts of the craft.
  • Glue
  • Various markers, in the colors that you like the most and that stand out on the cards we have chosen.
  • Scissors

Hands on craft

You can see how to make this craft in the following video:

  1. First we are going to choose which card we want to see more in the craft. We put our hand as a guide to draw a hand on that cardboard that we have chosen.
  2. We fold the cardboard in half to cut two equal hands. If you want to make it easier you can cut a rectangle first that covers what would be the two hands and then fold it to cut.
  3. Now let's cut a strip out of cardboard of another color. The width should be less than the palm of the trimmed hands as it will be hidden between them.
  4. Let write our continuous message, for example: on the palm 'I love you all ...' and he throws it '... this' or something more classic like' Congratulations ... '' ... for being the best dad. You can also put a separate message on the other hand that would be on the back of the card.
  5. We fold the strip like an accordion, leaving the message in the center and stick the fold of the ends to the palms of the hands on the inside.
  6. We leave our card folded between several books so that it stays very flat and be more surprise that it contains a message inside.

And ready!

I hope you cheer up and do this craft.
