Christmas is coming and at CraftsOn we are willing to give you ideas to decorate your houses economically and recycling. Thus, we can have good times as a family having fun while we create and design fun decorations for Christmas.
In this tutorial, we will show you how to make beautiful and fun Christmas trees made with EVA rubber to use as a fridge magnet.
Material
- A piece of EVA rubber of glitter.
- Glue.
- A sheet of magnet cuttable or tiny magnets.
- Scissors.
- A pencil.
Our Process
We will take the EVA rubber sheet and on the back we will draw a series of Christmas trees of different sizes. We can also make any other typical Christmas figure, such as: reindeer, Christmas balls, Santa Claus or stars. To make it more fun, we can even mix different colors of EVA rubber in the same figure, for example, we can make a Christmas ball to which we could hook lines in another color on top.
Once we have all the Christmas trees drawn, we will cut them out. Then, we will cut the magnet sheet (which we can obtain in craft stores or in a department store) and we will go gluing the pieces of magnet on the back of the Christmas figurines that we have made.
Another idea to apply this tutorial would be to make the craft with recycled materials, we can do it using, for example, newspapers in a very easy way, we could cut out a little pile of Christmas trees and glue them with white glue creating a Christmas tree of considerable thickness. Then we would let it dry for about 24 hours and then, we would do the same as with the EVA rubber, we would put a magnet behind it and it would be ready to decorate our fridge.
