In this tutorial I teach you to model a white rabbit made of polymer clay or Fimo, which you can take advantage of to decorate a multitude of objects or use it as a keychain, for example.
Materials
To make the rabbit you will need polymer clay such as Fimo, although it can be of any type, both air-dried and baked. It will be molded in the same way you use the one you use. The colors that you are going to need, if you want it the same as the one I teach you in this tutorial, they are the following:
- Blanco
- Pink
- Yellow
- Black
In addition to the clay, you may need a permanent marker to draw some little details. And as a tool, with a knife you will have enough.
Step by step
Let's start by doing the clay white rabbit by body, which is simply a cue ball. Roll it well so there are no wrinkles.
To do the feet you must take two equal pieces of white clay. Roll them first to create two balls and then roll those balls back and forth with your index finger and down one side of the ball. In this way it is sharpened on one part while the other remains rounded, thus creating a drop. When you have them, stick them under the rabbit's body, leaving the rounded part of the drops protruding forward.
Glue a pink ball in the center of the white ball to make the nose.
Draw with the permanent marker that eyes, making a dot and three lines upwards to simulate the tabs.
Let's now do the arms. You must start them in the same way as the feet, that is, create two balls and then two drops. You should flatten them a little with the palm of your hand so that they are flatter and stick them to the sides of the rabbit's body, leaving the rounded part forward again.
To make them ears Create two drops again but this time you must stretch them a lot more so that they are long and striking ears. Flatten them a little and do the same with two smaller pink pieces, which you must paste over the white part.
Paste the ears to the rabbit.
We are going to add one flower, and to do it you must make a ball with the piece of clay of the color you have chosen. Flatten it and with a knife make four marks along the edge to create the flower petals. Glue a white squashed ball to the center to finish the flower.
Glue the flower aside on the rabbit's head, and it's ready to decorate.
