In today's craft we are going to make colored cards with numbers from 0 to 9 to be able to work on numbers, addition, subtraction, multiplication or division with the children, only your imagination can tell you how to work it! Ideally, with so many numbers, Numbers can also be worked in terms of units, tens, hundreds and units of a thousand.
It is a simple craft, but it requires a lot of time and dedication so if you do it with young children it is better to do them in parts on different days, and if you do it with older children they still require a little supervision. Do not lose detail to be able to make the color cards to work the numbers.
The materials you need
- 4 colored cards (blue, red, green, yellow)
- 1 scissors
- 1 pencil
- 1 eraser
- 1 ruler
- 1 small rubber band
How to do this craft
First you will have to divide the cards as you see in the image to create cards of the same size, in this way all the cards will have the same size and you will be able to better carry out the activities that occur to you to work on mathematics and numbers. In this case we have made cards 7 cm wide and 13 cm long. With these measurements you can calculate the size you will need for the cards.
When you have the cards defined, you will have to cut them out. Once cut out put in front the numbers drawn as you see in the images or however you want it to be more attractive.
Once you have the four series of numbers (one series for each color), put a small elastic band on them, to be able to group each series of color with the numbers you just made. You already have the series of numbers to work with the children!
