This craft is so fun and easy to do. If you have a child who likes Sesame Street and specifically the cookie monster, then this craft is ideal because it is very simple and The result is great to decorate your children's bedroom or any other part of your home.
It is an ideal craft for children over six years of age, although if they are minors you will only have to take into account their fine motor skills to be able to help them or provide supervision if necessary.
What do you need to do the craft
- 1 thick blue eva rubber sheet
- 1 small sheet of thin white eva rubber
- 1 small sheet of thin light or dark brown eva rubber
- 1 small sheet of thin black eva rubber
- 1 piece of velcro
- 1 scissors
- 1 pencil
- 1 eraser
- 1 bottle of special glue for eva rubber
How you should do the craft
First you will have to make a large circle of EVA rubber with the thick blue sheet. Once you have it, cut it out. Then draw the eyes, the mouth and the pupils of the eyes on the corresponding pictures. (the circle of eyes with the white sheet, the mouth and the pupils with the black sheet of EVA rubber).
Next you will have to draw the shape of the hand on the blue eva rubber sheet and cut it out (as you see in the image). Then, on the brown foam sheet, draw what the cookie will be and cut it out. Glue all the prepared materials on the face of the cookie monster with the arrangement you see in the images.
Then cut a piece of velcro to put one part behind the face of the cookie monster and the other part in the place where you want to stick it to decorate.
