In today's DIY we will see how to make a cup holder by recycling a CD. It is about using those discs that no longer serve you and giving them a totally different use. In just a few steps you will have some of the most original cup holders, keep reading that I tell you with the step by step.
Makings:
- CD to recycle.
- Paper napkin.
- Eggshell.
- White glue.
- Glue for decoupage.
- Brush.
- Felt.
- gomaeva
- Scissors.
- Silicone.
- Ink.
- White paint.
- Varnish.
Processing:
- Start by preparing the eggs. Do not throw the shell away when you make the omelette ... put it in hot water to clean it well and remove the white layer.
- Use as many CD's as cup holders you want hsteel
- To cover the center Die or cut a few circles to size and press it in.
- Apply white glue to the middle of the CD.
- You see placing pieces of peel and with the help of the brush handle, apply pressure so that they split.
- In this image it looks better, this will make a false mosaic effect. Continue like this until the entire surface is filled.
- Once it's dry give a coat of white paint, in my case it is chalpaint.
- Circle the felt the size of the CD.
- Short contour with scissors.
- Sticking with silicone to the CD for the part that you have not worked, so it will be a more professional finish.
- It's time to decoupage. Scoop the white cape onto the napkin.
- Mark the outline of the drawing that you are going to use with a brush dipped in water and tear to separate from the napkin.
- Apply decoupage glue and place the drawing on top, you see giving more brushstrokes from the center outwards until it is fully glued.
- Once it has dried completely, apply a little aging ink and unify the whole.
- Last protects with a layer of varnish.
And you will have your cup holder ready, you can make as many as you want and in different designs.
