Makings:
- Notebook to transform.
- Decorated paper.
- Color tapes.
- Scissors.
- Ink.
- Double sided tape.
- Butterfly die.
Processing:
- We start from our notebook to transform. We take measurements of the covers, leaving the springs free and then we cut the decorated paper.
- We ink the edges of the paper, that will make it look more finished in the end.
- We put double-sided tape to the decorated paper, we can also do it with glue. We place the paper on both the front and back covers.
- We choose the ribbons to decorate, That they combine with our decorated paper so that the whole is more harmonious.
- We cut some strips of about six inches, as many as springs the notebook has. You can even put two in each, that's personal taste.
- We are tying each ribbon to the springs, making a double knot, so that they do not unravel later. This measure is to allow us to tie the knots well, otherwise it would be difficult for us to pass them through the springs and then tie the knots.
- We cut the surplus of the ribbons, as you like the most.
- With the die we make the butterfly and we put it on the lid. If we do not have a die we can draw the butterfly on a cardboard and then cut it out.
