If you like crafts with candles, the candle decorations, or play with the colors that they can offer us, this craft is for you. You will see how to achieve a warm and beautiful decoration with floating candles for those nights with little or no light. It is ideal for those intimate moments, especially if we want to surprise someone special.
Materials
- 2 glass pots
- 2 small candles
- Insulating tape
- White paint
- Plastic brush
- Yellow twine
- Aquarium or decorative stones
Our Process
- Cut 4 pieces of electrical tape and glue them around the pots. The width you leave between them will be the part to be painted. The higher the jar, try to leave more width, so that it is better. And when gluing them, make sure they are parallel, with the minimum of undulations.
- Take the plastic brush, and with little paint, paint the inside that separates the two insulating tapes. Paint as roughly as you can. That is why the brush is better to be made of plastic, so that the strokes are marked. If you don't have a plastic brush, don't worry, but above all, make it irregular.
- Being little paint, it will tend to dry quickly, but you will see that it spreads evenly by not ceasing to be liquid. The result we want is that.
- Peel off the electrical tape. It should be a perfect line.
- Then put some stones at a low height, covering the base is enough.
- Flip the surface with the yellow string of the glass jar. Give it several laps.
Finally, fill the jars with water, slightly below the white line you painted. And that's it! When the occasion arises, have your candles ready to insert and light. They will look great, both as a centerpiece at a dinner, in the room, or wherever you want.
