All the book covers they are very spoiled by the daily use of them. Therefore, today we remedy it with only the recycling of some scraps of fabric. In this way, we give it a different design, much more striking.
In this way, you can see how with recycled materials we can make new and very colorful objects. Thus, we give life to our old books according to the times we are in.
Materials
- Scraps of old cloth.
- Hot silicone and gun.
- Scissors.
- Spray glue.
- 1 knife
Our Process
Firstly, we will iron the chosen fabric well and we will place it under our book, centering it well, leaving some margins. We will apply a layer of spray glue on the cover and we will glue the fabric, then we will do the same with the back.
Then we will cut two slots in the book column so that we can fold the fabric well to cover it completely.
We will put silicone on the longest edge of the fabric and we will glue it to the book. We will do the same on the narrower edges, closing the corners well.
Finally, with the help of a knife we will glue the corners of the column of the book itself so that the work is perfect and then it does not tear with use.
