If we all have something at home, it is those little plastic or rubber dolls that sometimes we don't even remember how we have them there. The point is that we have them at home, and if one day is lost, nothing happens. Sometimes we have so many that we don't even know how many we have. For this reason, taking advantage of the fact that they are there, and that from time to time we consume food that is preserved in glass jars, we are going to take advantage of both.
Let's see, an original and fast way to decorate glass jars, with dolls on their covers.
Materials
- Glass jars
- Plastic or rubber dolls
- Cloth tape
- Painting
- Scissors
- Glue
Our Process
- We glue the dolls on top of the caps.
- While we wait for the glue to dry, we clean the glass pots. If they have the typical stickers stuck, just let them soak for 5 minutes. Then scratching a little, all the paper and glue that would be removed without the need for soap.
- Once the dolls are attached, we paint them. To paint uneven surfaces, you can see that I almost always use spray. Everything is more uniform.
- We cut two long pieces from the fabric tape.
- We wrap the jars with a bow. You don't need to paste them or anything. In case you have one end longer than the other, you are always in time to make the loop again, and cut the excess end.
- And ready! Once the paint on the lids has dried, you can cover the jars.
I suppose that inside the jars, I will take the opportunity to place marbles, pieces or small objects. But just in case I put some species in it, or some edible, I did not paint the inside. Just in case, I have a mania for chemicals.
