The materials that have been used for the fruit jars:

  • 2 glass jars to recycle.
  • Pink acrylic paint.
  • Yellow acrylic paint.
  • Green acrylic paint.
  • Black acrylic paint.
  • White acrylic paint.
  • Brown marker.
  • Black marker.
  • Medium thick brush.
  • Sponge.

You can see this manual step by step in the following video:

First step:

We painted one of the mason jars with pink acrylic paint. We paint it all. Then we pass the sponge over the brush strokes so that the trace is erased.

Second step:

We paint the second jar with yellow acrylic paint, but we don't paint the entire jar, since we will leave the upper part unpainted. We do the same function, we pass the sponge to remove the trace of the brush strokes. The upper part is painted with green acrylic paint.

Third step:

We take the green paint and mix it with a bit of black paint to darken it a bit. We paint a thick line on the bottom of the jar, then we paint another normal green line and finally another white line. The white one must be painted a little irregularly so that it offers a more realistic result.

Fourth step:

Letting the layers dry well, we paint the brown stripes of the pineapple with a brown marker. We take the pink jar and paint the watermelon seeds with a black marker. Finally we will have our fruit jars ready to fill it with tools.
