Today I come with a tutorial a: DIY lavender ear. So that you do not know what it is, I will explain it to you in a very simple way: It is the cage of the lavender flowers with their stems.
You do not need many tools or utensils to carry out this craft and in addition to setting, because the lavender has a characteristic smell, It can also be used as a mothproofing for clothes in the closet.
Makings:
As I have told you, you do not need many materials:
- Scissors.
- Hilo.
- Headband.
- Branches of lavender.
Processing:
- When we have already collected our lavender stems, we will begin cleaning them by removing the leaves and flowers that are in the middle of the stem. We will place them all at the same heighta.
- Once they have all been piled up, we will make a bundle as a bouquet with a thread.
- Then you catch the bundle by the flowers, and the stems are bent where we have made the bundle with the thread, resulting in a kind of umbrella. One by one, the stems are placed on the flowers and the entire set of the trellis is uniform, so that the flowers do not come out between the grids that form the stems.
- Once the whole set is uniform, a strong tie is made again at the point where the flowers end between the branches. We will leave a handle on the thread to be able to hang it.
The more flowers we put, the thicker the ear will come out but we will have to take into account to squeeze the flowers to press them so that it does not come out too thick.
- We will cut the stems at the same distance.
- We will make a bow with the ribbon as a decoration.
And we can place it in the closet or hang it in the room. I hope you liked it and that you put it into practice. See you in the next craft!
