DIY: panda bear brooch

Panda bear brooch

As a kindergarten teacher I love the little dolls made with felt to decorate work gowns. These felt dolls show the sensitivity and tenderness of what turns out to be a child's teacher, as well as being a very decorative accessory.

This type of craft can be done at any event or children's party as well as I remember communion, birthday, etc. It can also be a very fun craft for children, but they must be old enough to handle the needle and be able to sew.

Materials

  • White, black and pink felt.
  • Needle.
  • White, black and pink color thread.
  • Scissors.
  • Pencil.
  • White folio.
  • Pins.
  • Cotton.
  • Brooch.

Our Process

First, we will do the template of each part of the head of our panda bear on a sheet of paper. These we will cut and duplicate.

Then we will pass these templates on the felt and we will cut each piece double. On the head piece we will begin to sew the eyes, nose, mouth and cheeks of the panda bear.

Then, we will sew the second piece of the head over the previous one and we will fill with cotton to give it a tender and highlighted touch.

Finally, we will do the same with the ears and we will sew these on the head of our panda bear made previously. In addition, on the back we will sew the broche to be able to attach it to our gown.
