DIY - Paper card holder

Let's see a DIY - paper card holder. It is a purse made of paper where you can store your cards, purchase tickets, tickets ... Even if you make it larger, it can also serve as a pencil case.

You can do it with the measurements you want and with the decoration you choose, so let's go with the step by step.

Makings:

  • Scrap paper or decorated paper.
  • Sewing machine.
  • Hilo.
  • Scissors.
  • Adhesive plastic liner.
  • Zipper.

Process to make the paper card holder:

  • Start by cutting two rectangles on the decorated paper. As I said before, the measurements are up to you, mine is 15 x 10 centimeters.
  • Now paste the adhesive transparent liner. Do it little by little, running your finger so that no bubbles come out, and do not spoil it. Fold the excess lining inward to protect the edge.

  • Fold one of the longest edges to a centimeter. Do the same for both papers.
  • Presents the zipper as indicated in the picture. Be careful to choose a zipper that matches the pattern on the paper for a more professional finish.

  • Pass a backstitch with the sewing machine, both on one side and the other of the zipper.
  • Face the two rectangles and hold with tweezers.

  • Now pass a zig-zag around the outline of the paper, finish well at the beginning and end, in the area of the zipper, so that it does not come apart
  • With scissors cut the excess of the zipper flush with the paper.

And you will have ready the card holder to store cards, tickets, bills ... as you can see, it has a glossy, laminated finish.

I hope it has inspired you and if so I will be delighted to see your card holder on any of my social networks. I wait for you in the next craft.
