Materials that we will need to make our Easter candle
- Cardboard tube, you can use the one from the aluminum foil or plastic wrap rolls, the kitchen paper also works. And to a bad one we can make a cylinder rolling cardboard or light or cream colored paper.
- Red card
- White or cream paper
- Scissors
- Double-sided glue or tape
Hands on craft
- We cut out a circle twice the size of the nozzle of the paper cylinder or cardboard tube that we are going to use as the body of the candle. We put the center of the circle on the nozzle and tighten by lowering the sides and marking the contour of the had. Now all the outer part of the paper we are going to cut it into sinuous shapes to mimic melted wax.
- We glue the paper to the nozzle and we flatten the ends well so that they are glued to the had.
- Let make a very simple flame by cutting a tear out of red cardboard. If you want, you can make the flame with two types of cardboard, one red and one yellow, and superimpose several layers of tears of different sizes to achieve the effect of fire.
- To put the flame straight in the had, let's make an incision with a utility knife in the center of the paper covering the mouthpiece.
- We introduce the tear as a flame in this cut down until it is well fixed.
