Easy Acrylic Autumn Landscape

Hello everybody! In today's craft we are going to see how to make this pretty autumn landscape with acrylic paints. It is a simple landscape to do, which can be tried by any of the family.

Do you want to see how you can do it?

Materials that we will need to make our landscape

  • Acrylic paintings
  • Brushes
  • Marquetry board or canvas
  • Canister with water
  • Plastics or something to protect the table or the place where we are going to paint

Hands on craft

  1. The first step is protect the area where we are going to paint so that it does not stain. We can also have an old cloth on hand if necessary. Keep in mind that acrylic dries quite quickly.
  2. Now we are going to go on to prepare the support for our painting. In the case of choosing a canvas, no preparation will be necessary, but if we choose marquetry board, we will give it a coat of white acrylic paint. The layer will be very light, just to cover the wood color. We can give it with a very wet brush so that the paint slides better.
  3. Now the time has come to paint. For it we will distribute a series of colored dots as can be seen in the photograph next: white and two shades of blue for the sky; yellow, ocher and orange tones for the trees and for the ground.

  1. Once we have everything distributed we will spread this paint quickly with a wet brush. You have to be quick so that the paint doesn't dry out. We will start with the sky area, clean the brush a bit and continue with the upper area of the trees to finish with the ground.

  1. If a little more paint is needed we can add it now. And we already have the base of our painting. We are going to start paint tree trunks with brown paint. The trees against closer to more intense and against further away narrower and blurrier. We will add a darker brown on the left side of the trunks and on the left side a few strokes of ocher, which is where the light would reflect.

  1. We are going to add the details of the sheets. For this we will need a small round brush since we are going to make points on the trees first in red, then in orange and finally in yellow. We will also make these points on the ground and in the area of the sky as if they were falling leaves.
  2. Lastly, we will make the shadows of the trees with a dark hue.

And ready! We already have our simple chart. From here you can add all the details you want.

I hope you cheer up and do this craft.
