These Eva Rubber medals are very easy to make so they are ideal to do with children over 4 years old. These medals being easy to make can be made for a contest, to motivate children at home, to give to someone very special, etc.
The options are many and varied and you will only have to think how you could use these medals that will be so beautiful for your children or for the children in your class if you are a teacher. They are few materials and it is done quickly and with very simple steps. Although if you do it with small children remember to always watch to avoid accidents.
Materials that you will need
- 1 yellow Eva Rubber sheet (to simulate gold, but you can choose another color)
- 1 Eva rubber sheet with red glitter (or another color)
- Scissors
- White glue
- 1 brush for white glue
- 1 red bow (or other color)
- 1 pencil
- 1 die cutter
How to make the medal
To create the medal you just have to make the shape in the yellow sheet (you can take a glass to make it rounder) and make a small half circle in the upper part of what will be the medal to later pass the red ribbon as a pendant.
Then make a star of the right size to fit inside the medal (we have chosen the star shape, but you can choose a number, a letter or whatever you think would be best at that specific moment). Then stick it with white glue.
Then, take the die cutter (it can be a shaped die cutter like the one we have used that is shaped like a butterfly or a normal one) and make a hole to pass the loop. Cut the red bow to an appropriate size so that it looks good for the child who will be wearing it and cut it.
Then pass it through the hole and you will have your medal made with Goma Eva!
