Hello everybody. Today I want to show you how I have made some beautiful and simple decorated pins with felt flowers and buttons.
The decorated pins are a pretty accessory to fasten on our jackets, bags or sweaters and to combine with our other accessories, even at weddings and important celebrations they are a complement that is not lacking.
With a few simple steps that I show you below we can make some pins decorated with felt flowers to wear this spring.
Materials
- Pins.
- Colored felt.
- Thread and needle.
- Scissors.
- Buttons or sequins.
- Folios, pencil, marker.
Procedure for making decorated pins
The first thing we will do is choose the flower model we want to make and draw it on a sheet of paper in three different sizes as I have done, then go over it with a marker and cut them out.
When we have the molds of the cut flowers the following is baste them to the felt and cut them in felt to continue with the elaboration of the decorated pins.
The next step is the mounted from decorated pins, what we will do is place the flowers from largest to least one on top of the other and behind the pin to sew it next. As you can see in the image, the pin has two holes through which we are going to sew. To finish the decorated pins I put them a button on top of the flowers and I have sewn it all at once.
And as you can see in the images I have made two different decorated pins, one with pink tones and the other with felt in various colors. I have also used a flower-shaped button and a leaf-shaped button to give it the perfect finish.
