How to make a small Fimo cake or polymer clay

Materials

To make the cake you will need to Fimo or any kind of polymer clay. It does not matter if it is baked or air dried, use the one you are used to shaping, the one you like the most or the one that is most comfortable for you.

For fimo cake I have used the following colors:

• Beige
• Blanco
• Orange
• Light Blue
• Yellow

Step by step

It starts with the part of cake.

1. Create a ball with the color beige or light brown.
2. Roll it and stretch it to create a line.
3. Smash that line with the palm of your hand.

4. Use an awl or sharp object to poke holes along the edge of the line you just crushed.
5. Create lots of holes along the edge on both one side and the other.

Let's now create the cream fillingTo do this, you must do the same as in the first three steps with the cake.

6. Create a cue ball.
7. Roll it and stretch it to create a line almost as long as the one on the cake.
8. Flatten it with the palm of your hand.

9. Glue the white part on the cake.
10. Roll it up like a snail shell.

Now you have to do the born that it has at the top.

11. Create a cue ball.
12. Roll it until you create a fairly long line.
13. Go placing it on the cake making folds in no particular order and overlapping some parts.

14. To add the birutas, simply roll very small colored balls and stick them all over the cream.

Try doing it in different colors, with different rellenos and in several sizes. You have thousands of possibilities to create your own cakes.
