Frankestein has always been a typical horror character in which it is frequent that crafts are made with him, or also costumes, on the night of Halloween And, as this holiday is very close, how about making a Frankenstein head with very simple materials?
Thus, you will have a decorative element or a decorative mask or helmet for this Halloween night that will come soon. It is a somewhat laborious craft but surely the little ones in the house will love it and they will have a blast doing it with their friends or a family member.
Materials
- 1 balloon.
- 1 roll of toilet paper.
- White glue.
- Water.
- Thick brush.
- Diary paper.
- Zeal.
- Green, black, gray, white, red paints.
- Black marker.
- Colored pencils.
Our Process
Firstly, we will inflate the balloon according to the size you want the head of Frankenstein. We will start to cover this with pieces of toilet paper or newspaper, sticking it with a mixture of water and white glue in equal parts. We will give at least 3 layers and let it dry for a couple of hours.
After this time (be careful that it is still fragile because it is not completely dry yet), we will carry out two rolls with newspaper To which we will also glue another rolled sheet to give it much more relief. These will be the Frankenstein screws. We will let it dry for 24 hours.
Then we will go to paint it. First with green paint for the face on the front, then the back and part of the upper front to make the hair and finally the screws gray. We will let it dry for about 4 hours.
Then, we will begin to review with black marker all the lines to mark well the different parts of Frankestein. In addition, we will also paint the features such as the eyes, nose and mouth.
Finally, we will paint white the iris and the inside of the eye as well as the details of darkness and scars with colored pencils and blurring it with the finger.
