Garland of triangles made with furry clothes

wreath

Happy New Year! With Christmas I still had not had time to upload any post this year, and since it is the first, I bring it to you very funny, furry and soft. A garland with stuffed clothes!

I was preparing the carnival costumes (which is nowhere here) and suddenly, with the remains of the fabrics, I had the idea of making the typical triangle garland but stuffed and with furry fabric. And well, here is the result.

Material

  1. Colored furry clothes.
  2. Sewing machine.
  3. Scissors.
  4. Thread and needle.
  5. Padding for cushions or clothing scraps.

Our Process

garland1

We will cut two triangles of fabric and sew two of their sides as we see in the first photograph. To make it stronger, we can pass an overcast after stitching. Afterwards, we will make all the triangles that our garland will carry.

Once done, we will turn it over and fill the triangle with remains of clothing or cushion filling.

garland2

We will take the triangle and we will sew the open side with the sewing machine over the hair. Then, we will let about 15 centimeters of thread pass and we will join all the triangles with the same thread from the machine.

Finally, we will cut the excess part of the triangles so that they are polished and we can now hang our beautiful and furry garland made with stuffed clothes.

Until the next DIY! And if you liked it, share, comment and give the like.
