Hello everybody! In today's craft we are going to make a garland with mandarin or orange peelings. It is perfect to decorate this Christmas, it smells great and it is also completely natural.

Materials that we will need to make our garland with peelings
- Tangerines and / or oranges. Depending on how big you want the ornaments, it is preferable to use one or the other fruit or combine them.
- Thread or fine rope, you can also play with the colors of the rope.
- Needle
- Scissors
- Wood pellets (optional)
Hands on craft
- The first step is peel the tangerines or oranges, For this we will try to remove the pieces of shell as big as we can.
- We crush some of the pieces to make them flatter, we can break them a bit to facilitate the task. And then we let the peels dry for a couple of days. The good thing is that, We can save the peelings of the fruit that we consume and when we have enough to do the craft.
- We draw the shapes of the ornaments on the pieces of peelings and cut. In my case I have made stars, pins, circles and a stick, but you can make the shapes you want! We cut carefully until there are no pieces of peelings in which to make a figurine.
- We take a needle and thread and we are going to pass the ornaments one by one. I recommend you tie a couple of knots on each side of the ornaments to keep them in place What we want. You can also put a small point of silicone over the hole where the thread passes to fix it. Be careful not to break the figurines when passing the needle. You can also put wooden balls or other decorations on the garland.
And ready! All that remains is to place our garland and enjoy its smell.
With this same technique you can make individual ornaments to hang on the Christmas tree.
