Giant candy wrapper

Hello everybody! In today's craft we are going to see how to make a candy wrapper to give small things. Not only is it an original way to wrap a gift, but it also allows us to personalize it for the person to whom it is addressed.

Do you want to know how you can do it?

Materials that we will need to make our candy-shaped wrapper

  • A toilet paper roll carton.
  • Crepe or gift paper that is moldable and not see-through.
  • Decorative strips to close the sides.
  • Double-sided glue or tape

Hands on craft

  1. The first thing we will do is cut the paper we have chosen so you can wrap the roll of a toilet paper carton. Once cut we stop to go gluing and rolling the cardboard so that it sticks well. We will give several layers so that the cardboard is not transparent.

  1. Now is the time put inside the cardboard what we want to give away. We can also add some candies or chocolates since the person still expects something like that seeing how the packaging is. Also incorporate confetti or strips of paper so that the gift does not move excessively.
  2. It's time close our package Gift. We are going to tie a ribbon on each side making a loop. We will try that when closing the paper it does not remain too tense to prevent it from breaking. If it is easier for you, you can first use some thin rubber bands to tie the edges.
  3. We can leave the package like this or we can add some label with a message, stickers or whatever we want to further personalize the gift.

And ready! We have already prepared our gift to surprise our loved ones. They are sure to love it.

I hope you cheer up and do this craft.
