If you want to make handmade gifts for this Christmas and with materials that you can recycle, here are two ways to decorate two glass jars with Christmas motifs and with materials that you can easily get. You can do it perfectly with children and the shapes that we will make are a glass jar in the shape of a reindeer and another that we will decorate with a Santa Claus hat. Finally we will fill them with candies or chocolates so that the gift can be perfect.

These are the materials that I have used:
- two glass jars
- ribbon to decorate
- 2 brown pipe cleaners
- brown cardstock
- two eyes
- two bright red pompoms
- red card stock with glitter
- medium size white pom poms
- silicone gun and silicones
- a pen
- a rule
- candies or chocolates
Reindeer glass jar
First step:
We take the lid of our glass jar and we are going to wrap it with the decorative tape. If it has no adhesive part we will stick it with hot silicone around the edge of the lid. We can prepare the reindeer horns, we take the pipe cleaner and we cut a strip as long as we see fit, later we can cut another two small sticks to make the shape of the horns. We glue everything with the hot silicone.
Second step:
We take the measure of the glass jar to be able to cut a piece of cardboard. With the cardboard prepared and cut We will stick it with hot silicone around the jar.
Third step:
We glue the eyes and the nose with a small red pompom, we will make it with the same hot silicone. We take the lid and insert it into the pot, turning it around to close it. In this way we ensure how it is once closed to place the horns and that are frontally aligned. Finally we glue the horns with the silicone. As the last task we only have fill the glass jar with candies or chocolates.
Glass jar with Santa hat
First step:
On a red card with glitter we will draw a cone to form the hat, We will draw it on the back and white of the cardboard. We have to make marks 12cm from the vertex. These brands they will form a semicircle. When the marks are done We will join them by drawing a single line with the pencil, then we will cut out where we have drawn it.
Second step:
We make the shape of the hat and we glue its side with the hot silicone. When it has dried we will put silicone on the base of the cap to stick it on the lid of the glass jar, we center it well.
Third step:
In the space that has been between the hat and the edge of the lid we will go gluing the white pompoms. As a finish We will stick another red pompom on the tip of the hat. Finally we fill the jar with candies or chocolates and you have it ready.
