In today's post, we show you how to do glitter effect earrings with EVA rubber. Very easy and original. Perfect for one night and super cheap.
Material
- A glitter effect EVA rubber sheet.
- A transparent color nail polish.
- Glue.
- Some slopes bases.
- Scissors.
- Shaped cutters.
Our Process
Once we have chosen the color we want for our glitter effect earrings, we will take the cutters to mark the shapes on the EVA rubber sheet. If we don't have cutters, it doesn't matter, we can always draw it from the back and cut out the shapes.
The cutters will help us to define where we must cut. They are cutters for plaster, paste, clay, etc., they will not cut the EVA rubber but they will help to define the contour in a finer way.
Once the shapes of the earrings have been marked on the EVA rubber, we will go on to trim them. Then, we will apply a thin layer of transparent nail polish so that the glitter does not fall off the earrings and leave it all full of glitter.
Lastly, we will take the bases for earrings and we will glue them to the EVA rubber, using either super glue or heat sealer glue. And we will have ready our original and inexpensive glitter effect earrings, perfect for any celebration during this Christmas.
Finally, remind you that, If you have EVA rubber and glitter, you can always make the glitter sheet yourself. The only thing you will need is, apply white glue on the EVA rubber sheet, put the glitter on top, let it dry and apply the transparent color nail polish as in the glitter effect EVA rubber.
