Hello everybody. Today I will show you how I have made some hand-painted shoes.
Customize the shoes or shoes is fun and easy, and we can also give another life to those shoes that we no longer use. Using textile paint and using our imagination we can have beautiful hand-painted shoes for children or not so children.
Materials
- A pair of shoes that we want to customize
- Brushes
- Textile paint
- Tracing paper
- Permanent textile marker
How to make hand-painted sneakers
Ideally, choose one canvas sneaker that has a surface large enough to make a drawing if we want to do it, or simply choose a motif to stamp on the sneakers to cutomize them.
In my case, I have made several hand-painted sneakers and I have drawn on them what the child liked the most.
For those who are good at drawing drawing can be done by hand raised directly on the canvas, first drawing it in pencil and then going over it with a marker to finally paint it.
I used a template so that the drawings would be exact on each shoe, and what I did was first draw the drawing that I wanted to add to the shoe on paper and then transfer it with tracing paper to the shoes. Once I have the drawing on the shoe I review it with a marker and paint it with textile paint little by little and finally I let it dry well.
To get a good finish, I go over it again with a marker and add some decorative elements such as buttons, charms, or sequins. I also combine the laces with the drawing that I painted or with the color of the hand-painted shoes. In the photo gallery you can see various models of hand-painted sneakers that I have made and the combination of laces and decorative elements that I used for each pair.
