This craft has an amazing finish. With a little wool and with the help of white glue we will make a rigid stars that will be hung in any corner of your house.

Do not miss step by step how to do it because you will be impressed by how it is done. If you have any questions, we have a video in this manual to guide you. In the photo we have adorned it with a pompom, if you want to know how they are made you can enter this post and learn how easy it is.

The materials that I have used are:

  • a folio with a star drawn geometrically (I put the image below to be able to print)
  • White glue
  • some water
  • a bowl to mix the cola and water
  • a spoon to stir
  • a polystyrene base
  • small matches
  • a brush
  • purpurin

You can see this craft step by step in the following video:

First step:

We print the drawing of the star on a folio and we cut it out. We place the star on top of the styrofoam and mark each point of its star with a small match. We remove the star because we already have the points of our star.

Second step:

In a bowl we put glue and water. We put two parts of glue and one of water and stir. We put the wool and soak it well from the tail. We take one of its ends and we place it between the points formed with the matches. We form the star and we will observe that other points are going to form between the angles of the star. We also mark them with the matches.

Third step:

As we see in this second star, we do the same steps again. It would be explained that the points marked between the angles would help us to continue forming edges between the star. The more laps we make with the yarn, the more compact the star will be.

Fourth step:

To make the star more compact, with a brush the we put a little glue on top. Before putting it to dry, sprinkle glitter on top so that it adheres to the glue. We let the stars dry for about a day. When they are finished we take out the matches carefully and we can place a woolen thread of the same color to be able to hang these beautiful stars.
