Every year Valentine's Day! try to be more original and if there is something that is fashionable they are the minions. In this post I am going to teach you how to do this cardIt is in the shape of a heart with the face of one of these characters. It is perfect to do with children at home.
Materials to make the Minions card
- Colour cardboard
- Colored eva rubber
- Scissors
- Glue
- Eva rubber punches
- Permanent markers
Procedure for making the Minions card
- To start, cut out a rectangle of yellow cardboard about 16 x 32 cm.
- Fold it in half.
- With pencil and freehand draw the silhouette of a heart, but with great care so that the left part when cutting it is not separated from the other silhouette.
- Cut it out carefully.
- Glue a strip of black card approximately 1 cm wide at the top of the heart, which will be the ribbon worn by the glasses.
- To form glasses and eyes I'm going to use gray, white and black foam circles. For this I will use my hole punches, but if you don't have one, you can use a compass or plugs.
- I will paste one on top of the other from highest to lowest and we will have the two eyes formed.
- Next, I will glue them on top of the black strip, right in the center.
- To form costume, I'll glue a rectangle of blue construction paper right to the bottom and then cut out the excess from the back.
- Suspenders I'm going to make them exactly the same, using two strips of cardboard 1 cm wide. I will cut what is left behind.
- Mouth I am going to make it by sticking a small red circle in a black circle and I will place it in the center of the face.
- For the suspenders, I used two hearts in the form of buttons.
- I will finish this card, writing with a silver marker the words "I love you" and I will make the pocket with a backstitch.
Now we only have to put a nice message inside of the card and ... to give it away !!!
