Today we are going to make a simple craft that children will love. It is very easy to do and they can make it for themselves or to give it to someone special. It is a heart bracelet made with EVA rubber. You can choose the colors to your liking or to the taste of children, you need few materials and it is ideal for boys and girls over 6 years old.
If you decide to do this craft with younger children, the ideal is that they have supervision especially for the scissors and the glue that should be used. Read on and don't miss out on this easy craft.
Materials you need
- 2 sheets of eva rubber of colors to choose
- 1 small size die cutter of the shape you like the most
- 1 tube of white rope
- 1 pencil
- 1 eraser
- 1 scissors
- 1 bottle of special glue for eva rubber
How to make the craft
First take the Eva rubber sheets and make hearts. Make a heart first and use that heart as a template so that the rest of the hearts on the bracelet are the same size. The size of the heart will depend on who will receive the bracelet. They can be larger or smaller hearts, depending on your taste. Once you have all the hearts made for the bracelets (3 or 4 hearts per bracelet), take the stamping machine (ours is shaped like a butterfly), and stamp it with it on each side of the heart, as you can see in the image. You will get butterfly shapes that you will have to reserve for later.
After having punched out all the hearts, take the butterflies that have come out of eva rubber and glue one on each heart. Ideally, it should be the butterfly of the color opposite to the heart so that it has greater visual interest.
Next, cut the string taking into account the size of the wrist of the person who will receive the bracelet and pass the string as you see in the images ... and you will have the heart bracelet made with EVA rubber ready!
