That is why it is advisable to keep the house cool or at least the environment where the ficus, with minimal watering for the life of this plant. In the attempt to acclimatize the plants in the home, and try to improve their decoration with them, the ficus can be pruned and given a horizontal shape or a vertical growth. The plants must reject the leaves of the lower part of the trunk affected by substances harmful to it, since it would probably affect the whole plant from a disease.

In fact, the behavior of the leaves is a symptom of the state of health of the ficus tree: If you lean towards the ground, it means that the plant suffers from a lack or excess of water or a lack of moisture. If they start to lose their natural colors it means they are sick and you will need to contact a garden specialist.

Over time, however, the ficus inevitably loses its leaves and many tend to separate, perhaps because they know that there is a remedy: it is enough to make a layering, having the part still provided with leaves.

The operation must be carried out in the months of good weather to be able to place it outdoors and the search is faster and safer. Layers provide plants with the possibility of having roots that are more adaptable to apartments, a reason for all those who want to have them and do not have a garden.
