How to make a bouquet of roses, recycling a belt

In this tutorial we are going to see how to make a bouquet of roses, recycling a belt that we do not use. In addition to decorating a room, it can serve us as an air freshener if we add perfume to the roses, if you want to see how I have done it, do not miss the step by step.

Makings:

  • Velvet belt to recycle. (It could also be done by cutting strips of thick felt.)
  • Scissors.
  • Hot silicone gun.
  • Wood sticks.
  • Green washy tape.

Processing:

To make this bouquet of roses you need a velvet belt, pink, red, yellow, white ... so that the result is more realistic. In my case it is the belt of the robe to be at home that I did not use, because it has a zipper and I did not need it. Let's go with the step by step.

  • We will cut the belt into pieces of about eight inches, as many pieces as roses we want. I have made a bouquet of half a dozen.
  • We will line the wooden stick with green Washy, if you have florist tape much better. It has to be a thin stick, kind of skewers.

  • We will start to make the roses, first We will glue the belt with the silicone, wrapping it around one end of the stick.
  • We will turn the belt around and hitting the stick as indicated in the picture.

  • We will repeat this operation to the extreme. By turning the belt, it acts as the rose petals.
  • To finish the rose we will bend the end in a peak, As can be seen in the photograph and we will paste by folding one last time.

We will make as many roses as we want and place them in a vase, They will look great as decoration and if we add perfume they will be a perfect air freshener for a corner of the living room.

I hope it inspires you, for any questions you know you can do it through any of my social networks.
