How to make a chicken out of cardboard rolls. Recycling

The crafts made with cardboard rolls they are very fashionable lately. In this post I am going to teach you how to make a super easy chicken with rolls of toilet paper accompanied by toy eggs, perfect to decorate a farm, a children's theater or the corner of a children's room.

Materials to make the hen

  • Rolls of toilet paper
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Glue
  • Colored eva rubber
  • Eva rubber punches
  • Mobile eyes
  • Permanent markers
  • A bowl or bowl
  • Plastic eggs

Procedure for making the hen

  • To start take rolls of toilet paper that you have at home.
  • Measure the length with a ruler and cut a strip of eva rubber of the color you like the most that covers the entire contour.
  • Gradually stick the eva rubber to the cardboard roll making sure that it is very straight.

  • Once the cardboard roll is lined, we are going to cut a rectangle with orange eva rubber.
  • This piece will be peak.
  • Fold it in half and cut into a triangle shape.
  • We already have the beak formed, now I'm going to stick it on the hen's face.

  • Once the beak is attached, I will train it face.
  • I will glue the moving eyes.

  • With a black permanent marker I'm going to do lashes to eyes.
  • With the hole punch circles and some scraps of eva rubber from other jobs I'm going to make a few circles to decorate the chicken's breast.
  • I'm going to glue the circles little by little to form a pyramid.

  • With a red heart I'm going to do the chins of the hen, placing it down.

  • To finish the hen I am going to place the crest I have made with a rectangle of eva rubber and rounding the upper part forming waves.
  • Take a bowl from home and some toy or chocolate eggs and you can have your complete hen.

I hope you liked this idea, see you next time.
