How to sew a sanitary napkin bag

Good morning, today I come with a cover of "in itself", exclusively feminine. It is very practical and you can carry it in a bag, I also show you the step by step so you can make one yourself: We are going to see how to sew a sanitary napkin bag in just a few steps, with our sewing machine.

Makings:

  • Sewing machine (I use an Alpha sewing machine)
  • Screen.
  • Interlining.
  • Hilo.
  • Scissors.
  • Square bracket.

Creative process:

  • Begin cutting the fabric, you will need three rectangles of the following measurements:
    • 12 x 26 centimeters.
    • 12 x 11 centimeters.
    • 12 x 14 centimeters.
  • Apply the interfacing heating with the iron so that it stays attached to the fabric. Next, cut the interfacing around the outline of the three rectangles.
  • Hem on the twelve centimeter side in the two small rectangles.

  • Attach one side of the bracket in the center of one side of the larger rectangle at one and a half centimeters.
  • Present the two rectangles as seen in the picture, fabric against fabric.
  • After stitch around the outline.

  • Kill the corners a bit so that when they turn around they are not very pointed. To do this, make a stitch at ninety degrees in each corner.
  • Cut the excess angles with the scissors.
  • Flip both pockets over.

  • Run a zig zag with the sewing machine around the contour, ends where the two fabrics meet to give more security to the pockets.
  • Now put the other side of the string. You can also place belcro or any other type of closure.
  • Mark with a pin where the flap reaches and pass a backstitch so that it is closed.

This is how the bag to store the compresses looks like. It is very discreet in the bag ...

In addition to compresses, you can also put tampons or wipes, depending on what you need. I have put four pads without wings and they are great.

I hope you like it and it inspires you.

See you at the next!.
