How to wrap children's gifts

We have three very original ideas for gift wrapping that can be used in children's gifts. It is about covering the boxes with very simple paper and being able to create three small crafts so that they stand out for their color. You can see this craft step by step in our demonstration video.

The materials that I have used for the gifts are:

  • Three boxes of different sizes (they are supposed to have the gift inside)
  • Plain brown wrapping paper
  • A sheet or white wrapping paper
  • Decorative cord or thread
  • 3 large bells in metallic colors
  • Wide pink decorative ribbon
  • Large colored wooden beads
  • Silk thread
  • Colored beads like Hama Beads
  • Hot silicone and her gun
  • Cellophane
  • Scissors

You can see this craft step by step in the following video:

First step:

We wrap all the gifts with the chosen paper. Some will go with brown paper and those that are desired with white paper. The colors are simple because we don't want anything to stand out other than decorative elements to be placed.

Second step:

The gift that we have wrapped in white we are going to wrap our decorative thread. We fasten one of its ends in the back with cellophane and we already begin to make the first turn. On the face of the box we place one of the bells and we keep wrapping with the rope. In total we will go around three times and place a bell on the face. The laps that remain behind the box We will hold them with cellophane.

Third step:

In the silk thread we put Hama Beads that are being combined with different colors. We seal the tips of the beads giving a couple of turns with the thread on the bead and in each turn tie a knot. With the row of beads already made we form the loop and place it in the box, the point where we choose it we will add a few drops of silicone to make it fixed.

Fourth step:

We put our decorative ribbon inside the wooden beads. We can put between 5 or 6 depending on how big the box is. We fix the beads in the box with a silicone point so that it does not move and eventually we wrap the gift to finish in the front with a knot and a bow.
