In this tutorial I show you the step by step to create a kawaii cactus decorative modeling Fimo o polymer clay. It is great to decorate a bookcase or desk and give it that kawaii touch that is so fashionable.
Materials
To make yourself the kawaii cactus you will need the following materials:
- Fimo or polymer clay in the colors: tile red, brown, green, light blue, white, pink and yellow.
- Acrylic paint in the colors: black and white.
- Toothpick or awl
- Knife
- Brush
Step by step
We can divide the kawaii cactus in two parts, one is the flower pot and the other his own cactus. We will make them separately and join them at the end.
We will start with flower pot. Take a clay ball in tile red and roll it back and forth with your hand slightly tilted to the side, so you will have an egg shape. Stand it up and flatten it a bit so that the top and bottom are flat.
To make the land of the pot, make a brown ball and flatten it well, stick it on the base of the pot you just made, and with a brush you make the texture of dots.
Only the borders from the pot. Create a long brick red line and flatten it out. Glue it around the dirt you made in the previous step.
Now we put aside the flowerpot and continue by the cactus. To do it structure you need a large piece of green. Roll into a ball and flatten it with the palm of your hand or a flat object. Do the same with two other smaller pieces, which you will have to stick on the edge of the large circle on the part that will go up, as if they were two little bows.
We will do the details with the acrylic paint. Paint two little black dots for the eyes. Put it quite far apart to make it look more kawaii. While you wait for the black color to dry, with another toothpick or awl, paint groups of three little white dots all over the cactus, so we will simulate the spikes. And once your eyes are dry, paint two white dots on them to simulate the brightness.
How to Live Aligned with decor we are going to do some flowers very easy. You should make four balls of the same color and size, and flatten them with your finger. Gather them together to form the flower and stick a yellow ball in the center. To finish, close the petals a little, bringing them together towards the central ball.
Make another white flower and glue them to the top of one of the "little bows."
