Kawaii It is a word that means "pretty", "precious", "cute" and is used in Japanese folk art. It applies to a lot of things like fashion, food, stationery and a thousand other things. In this post I am going to teach you how to do this cookie-shaped keychain and with a kawaii expression that is so funny.
Materials to make the kawaii cookie keychain
- Colored eva rubber
- Circular cookie cutters or compass
- Scissors
- Glue
- Permanent markers
- Alcohol
- A brush
- White acrylic paint and an awl or stick
- Blush and a cotton swab
- Replacement for keychain
Procedure to make the kawaii cookie keychain
- With two circular cookie cutters of two different sizes, create in eva foam 2 circles of tan and 3 circles of white, although you can make them the color you like the most.
- The large circles I have cut out with the pinking scissors in the shape of waves so that it is the same as the edge of the real cookies.
- Paste one over the other the white circles to form the cookie filling.
- Glue the previous figure inside centered, that is, the 3 glued white eva rubber circles and place the other cover on top, gluing it so that it does not move.
- With brown marker paint the edge of the cookie.
- Uuse a brush and rubbing alcohol to blur the outline and give it that characteristic toasted color of cookies. Do it carefully so that there are not many marker stains and it is as natural as possible.
- Place two small circles of black eva rubber that will be the eyes. I have made them with a hole punch, but if you don't have them you can make them by hand or even paint them with markers or using small buttons.
- With an awl and white acrylic paint or white marker make the glitter of the eyes.
- With fine black permanent marker beam the eyelashes and the smile.
- Then put blush with the cotton swab and eye shadow.
- To finish, place some little dots on the face of the cookie with brown marker and insert a ring and the keychain accessory so that we can hang it on our keys.
