In this tutorial I teach you to create one four strand knot bracelet. It's easier than you think, because it always repeats the same standard, so choose the colors what you want for your bracelet, let's get started.
Materials
The materials what do you need to create your knot bracelet are the following:
- Cord, mouse tail or wool in two different colors.
- Skewer stick
- Scissors
Step by step
To be able to do your knot bracelet we are easily going to help each other toothpick skewer that you will have seen in the materials section. This toothpick will hold the threads so that they can be knotted without any problem.
Cut a piece of string of each color. The length depends on how the wrist is going to wear the bracelet. I have a very thin wrist and I have cut approximately 50cm of cord. What I advise you is that you cut more than you think it will take, because it is always better that we have to spare and that we have to cut the excess, that we are missing and cannot follow the bracelet, and therefore we have to return to start it with longer laces.
Fold down the half each piece of cord, and pass them through the toothpick as you see in the image. The ends of the laces should go through the fold and the toothpick should be inside.
Having four capes, pass the one on the left over the next two, and under the last one. And you must pass the cord on the right under the next two and over the last.
You tighten well and you have the first knots made.
Continue with the same process, keeping in mind that the cord that you pass over the top in the last step will be the one that is on the sides of the bracelet, and the one that goes under will be in the middle. For example, I always pass brown under the middle laces and over the last lacing, and beige I pass it the other way around, over the middle laces and under the last chord. This way I have the beige center and the brown sides.
So you do until you reach the end.
Take the toothpick out of the laces, and you will have some eyelets that will serve to close your bracelet.
And voila, you already have your bracelet to wear it with the combination of colors that you want.
