When decorate the children's room, we always choose to place some large letters with your name. This, sometimes, is quite expensive so today we give you a very good idea so that it does not cost you anything at all, so you save a little.
With a few simple scraps of fabric and some cardboard sheets you will have a large sign to be able to decorate any children's room. So, you can give a lot of touch more original and personalized to this unique type of decoration.
Materials
- Cartons
- Scraps of fabric, to be able to be stamped.
- Scissors.
- Glue.
- Pencil.
- Ruler.
Our Process
Firstly, we will draw each letter of the name that we want to expose on cardboard. It is recommended that these letters are rectangular and made with a ruler to facilitate cutting and are all equal in size.
Once drawn, the we will cut very carefully, taking good care of the corners and spikes. In this way, we do not run the risk of deformed letters coming out.
We will superimpose the cardboard letter on the fabric stamped, we will mark its contour leaving a little margin and we will cut it out.
Lastly, we are going to glue the fabric to the cardboard well reinforcing the corners and tips. It is not necessary that we cover the entire back part since it will not be seen when hanging on the wall.
