This craft has its charm. It's a rainbow made of macramé so you can decorate any endearing corner. It is very nice to give away and that you can place in a child's room and on a crib. The steps are very simple, you have to wrap the rope around the main rope, you don't have to do any special weaving. To know all the details you can view our demonstration video. The materials I used for the jar:
- Macramé rope 1 cm thick (about 2 meters).
- Fine jute rope in 7 colours: light pink, dark pink, yellow, orange, light blue, dark blue or indigo and green.
- Beige thread.
- A needle.
- Craft wire, easy to bend.
- A piece of decorative string to hang the rainbow.
- Strip with beige pompoms (about 50 cm).
- Scissors.
- Ruler.

First step:
We cut a strip of macrame rope, the thickness of 1 centimeter. To start making the lower part of the rainbow, we calculate a few 12 cm. We take the first rope, in my case I have chosen the color light pink, and I have started to wind it in the macrame rope. Beginning knotting the rope and then I roll up to the end, where I will also knot it. We cut off all the excess tails.
Second step:
On the second string we can place a wire so that it takes the arched shape. If we want to calculate the length of the rope, we will place it on the first one and cut it as far as it allows you. To hold the rope and the wire we will wind it with the corresponding jute rope. In my case I have chosen the indigo color. To roll it up we do the same as in the previous step, we start by knotting and then going around until the end, where we will also knot.
Third step:
We do the same with the following strings. We calculate the length by supporting it on the previous one and cutting back as much as possible. Then we wind the corresponding rope and we knot We do it with the following colors: light blue, green, yellow, orange and dark pink.
Fourth step:
On the last rope we can place the wire to make sure you don't losethe arched shape of the rainbow. To make each color strip join, we will sew them with thread and on the back of the structure. When we have it together, we measure the ends well, we open the ropes so that the threads are released and We cut off the excess parts.
Fifth step:
We cut a piece of rope to be able to place it on top of the structure and that it can be hung. Finally we sew the pom pom strip and sew it on the back and top of the rainbow.
