These magical dragonflies They are beautiful, a real charm to be able to make them in this summer time. They look so pretty and decorative with their bright and fluorescent colors that will harmonize any corner of your garden or children's room.
We will choose some dry sticks, with a dragonfly body and antennae, then we will color the cardboard wings with bright colors. Finally we will glue the wings, paint the sticks and add glitter. A great idea for children!
The materials that have been used for the dragonflies:
- Fluorine colored cardboard (green, yellow, pink or blue).
- Marking pens or acrylics of different colors.
- Pencil.
- Scissors.
- Natural wooden sticks with the termination of two antennae.
- Gold and silver acrylic paint.
- Decorative stickers with shiny pink or white.

First step:
We cut out the wings of the dragonflies. We make them freehand and calculate the shape and size so that they look like the photos.
Second step:
You have to go making shapes, lines, dots, circles, whatever comes to mind... The idea is to create lots of colors, something that will be magical.
Third step:
We glue the wings with the hot silicone. Where we have joined the tips of the wings we stick a sticker in the form of decorative glass.
Fourth step:
We take the golden acrylic paint and paint the sticks. We let dry well. Then we paint the tips of the antennae with metallic acrylic paint and we will make some stripes for the rest of the body of the dragonfly.
Fifth step:
Before the paint dries, we will pour the glitter on the end of the antennae. Let dry well and enjoy!
