There is little left for Father's Day, and if you have not yet come up with any craft to do with children at home, today I show you one: let's see a medal tutorial for father's day.
We sure have a fun time with the kids and also surprise dad in his day.
Makings:
- Two-color card stock.
- Ruler.
- Scissors.
- Marker pen.
- Glue.
- Stickers
- Double sided tape.
Processing:
- We cut the cardboard: In my case I have used blue and white. I have cut the blue cardboard into three rectangles; one of 32 x 13 cm. and two of 20 x 4 cm. And on the white cardboard I have made two circles, one of 7 cm. and another of 9 cm. diameter.
- In the narrow strips we take out two corners, first we make a cut perpendicular to the narrow side.
- We cut by joining the corner of the rectangle with the end of the cut.
- We repeat with the other corner.
- We do the same in the other narrow rectangle. We will thus have the two ends of the medal.
- In the widest rectangle we make some marks at 2,5 cm. helping us with a folder or with scissors and a ruler.
- We fold in the form of an accordion.
- We make a mark in the center on both ends of the accordion.
- We put glue on the ends, It can be double-sided tape, glue stick, in my case I have done it with a silicone gun. We will thus get a circle for the medal.
- We decorate the ends of the medal, It can be painting, with washy tape, in my case with stickers.
- We wrote the message for dad in the small circle. We glue it to the medal.
- We glue the two ends and the largest circle on the back. We put double-sided tape to hold it. We can also place a safety pin fastened with tape.
We already have our craft ready, we make a nice package and ready to give it to dad on his day. I hope you liked it and that you enjoy that day.
