At DIY that accompanies the photo we are going to work with Washi tapeSurely you already know the material but, for those who do not know it, it is a special zeal of very fashionable paper and colors or drawings.
In Crafts ON we have done some other crafts with it and in this tutorial, we have customized a mobile phone case.
Materials
- Colored washi tape.
- Scissors.
- A mobile phone case to personalize.
- Spray varnish.
Our Process
We will cut a series of strips to be placed vertically on the phone case and we will glue them at one of the ends.
Then we will weave ribbons horizontally as follows: one above and one below until the end. The next strip will be inverted and so on until the entire lattice is finished.
Then, we will cut the excess by adjusting the framework to the mobile phone case. We will also make the shape of the camera lens and the speaker with a cutter. And, to finish, we will seal it by applying spray varnish for plastics.
