The cases made of eva rubber are great for storing our writing or craft materials. Despite being made of this material, they are quite resistant. In this post I am going to teach you how to do this in the form of little mouse, but you can customize it and create your own model.
Materials to make the eva rubber case
- Colored eva rubber
- Zipper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Permanent markers
- Pompom
- Pipe cleaner
- Heart piercer
- Circle punch
- Blush or eyeshadow
- A cotton swab
Procedure to make the eva rubber case
- Cut out a Oval shaped which will be the body of the mouse. You have to do it twice. I have made one part gray and the other red, which will be the back.
- Shape the ears They will be in the shape of a teardrop or drop and do the same with the back parts. I will do it in polka dot eva rubber.
- Mark the zipper on the back and cut out a rectangle the size of it so that later we can insert it and create our closure.
- Stick it very carefully to avoid that it cannot be closed later.
- Build the ears by gluing the two pieces together and stick them to the sides of the head
- Place the gray part on top, which will be the body of the mouse.
- With two white and two black circles form the eyes, you can make them with the punches.
- Nose it will be a big red pom pom.
- Now with a permanent black marker, draw a smile and with a small square in white eva rubber, forms the tooth of the mouse.
- With black eva rubber, make two strips that will be Eyebrows of our little animal and with the help of eye shadow and a cotton swab draw the blushes.
- Use a red pipe cleaner to make the tail to the mouse. Roll it up and shape it as in the photo. To prevent it from falling you can secure it with an eva rubber heart on the back.
- And voila, we have finished our mouse case made with eva or foamy rubber.
