In this tutorial I teach you to create one note-carrying frog with Fimo o polymer clay, to decorate your desk, place papers that you want to remember or even to use as a photo holder.
Materials
To make the note-carrying frog you will need to Fimo o polymer clayEither baking or air drying. The colors that you will need to do it will be:
- Verde
- RED
- Blanco
- Black
In addition, you will also need tools such as a awl, to make marks in the clay, and a marker pen, to draw the details of the frog.
To convert it into a note holder you will need your own note holder skewer, but if you can't find it you can use a wire and some pliers to do it yourself.
Step by step
To create the note-carrying frog start with body, which is the part that will be the base and will hold the whole figure.
- Roll the green clay into a ball.
- Roll it back and forth a little with your hand angled slightly towards the little finger so that it stretches slightly more on one side than the other, in this way you will create the egg shape.
To do the feet you need two equal pieces of colored clay Verde.
- Make two balls.
- Roll the balls with your index finger on one side, so that they stretch at one end only and you can create two drops.
- Crush the drops with the palm of your hand.
- With the awl mark three lines on the legs.
- Put your feet next to each other.
- Glue the body onto the feet.
Let's now do the eyes, so take two equal pieces of colored clay white.
- Make two balls.
- As with your feet, stretch the balls on one side to create drops.
- Smash them with the palm of your hand.
- Glue them side by side.
- Glue the eyes to the frog's body.
- Paint the Pupils with a black marker or by gluing two small balls of black clay.
- Also paint a smile big under the eyes.
To make the language you need colored clay Red.
- Make a little red ball.
- Stretch it like legs and eyes.
- Squash it with your finger.
- Stick it in the mouth.
You just need to put the notes holder. If you want to do it yourself take a piece of wire and some pliers.
- Wind the end of the wire like a snail until it makes four or five turns.
- Poke the wire into the frog's body.
And you will have finished your note-carrying frog.
