In this post I am going to teach you how to decorate a simple notebook and turn it into something very beautiful so that children can draw and write their favorite stories.
Materials to make the decorated notebook
- Notebook
- Rubber eva
- Scissors
- Glue
- Mobile eyes
- Round pins
- Permanent markers
- Ruler and pencil
- Circle and flower punch
- Circular objects such as compasses or jar lids
Procedure for making the decorated notebook
- The first thing you have to do is measure notebook cover With a ruler to cut out a piece that we will glue on top with cold silicone.
- Next I am going to trim a 3 cm wide strip approximately red eva rubber and I am going to paste it on the left side of the notebook.
- Helping me with a Circle puncher I'ma make some blacks and I'm going to stick them on the red strip to imitate the ladybug's spots.
- With a strip of green eva rubber I will form Grass, cutting the upper part into spikes, I will glue it with cold silicone in case I have to move it.
- A cover will help me make two circles: red and black.
- The red one I am going to cut in half and with a black permanent marker I am going to make some spots.
WE BUILD THE LADYBIRD
- Then I will paste it on top of the black as you see in the image to form the wings.
- I have also cut out the pieces to head. They have to be slightly smaller than the body.
- I'll stick the head to the body.
- Antennas I am going to make them with two red round pins, I will stick them on the back and to strengthen the union I am going to place a piece of black eva rubber.
- Once the ladybug is formed I will stick it on top of the notebook.
- Next I'm going to form the face with two mobile eyes, a cork nose and I'll do the details like the eyelashes, smile and blushes.
- I only have left the last details like the sun and some flowers that I have put in the grass and with a red marker I have made the center.
