Hello everybody! Father's day is approaching and that is why in today's craft we bring you an idea to give him: a pencil cup with corks.
It is very simple to do and it is very beautiful and original, it is perfect for children.

Materials that we will need to make our pencil cup
- 24 corks
- Cork plate, or failing eva rubber and cardboard
- Hot glue gun
- Tempera (optional)
Hands on craft
- First of all we will clean the corks if we see it necessary. For this you can boil the corks for about five minutes and we will wait until they are well dry before continuing with the craft.
- We take 8 corks, we are going to put four standing up and another four lying between the previous ones. The idea is to get a square that will be the base of our beaker. We glue with hot silicone.
- Once well dry, we put the pass on the cardboard and mark the outside of the square with a pencil. Cut with scissors giving a little more margin so that it fits well inside and we glue it with silicone.
- Now we mark the internal part in eva rubber and we glue the whole piece to get our base.
- Now we will put the rest of the corks following the pattern of those that we have already placed and we will glue them with hot silicone until we finish them and get our cup for pens.
- You can paint the corks with tempera or leave them seen as I have decided to do.
And ready! We already have our Father's Day gift prepared, you can put a gift bow with a little zeal and ready to give it to the parents.
